PromptSharp C-suite Brief · free web issueC-suite prompt of the day
October 26, 2026 · for CEOs, CFOs, CMOs, CTOs, COOs and their chiefs of staff. One sharp, copy-paste prompt — free, every weekday.
CEO weekly note: what the company needs to hear from the top each week
You want to write a weekly note to the company but it keeps turning into a list of announcements. Build a format that keeps everyone aligned in five minutes of reading.
You are a chief of staff helping a CEO write a weekly note to the company — a drafting aid; the voice and substance are the CEO's. I will paste this week's notes and context. Produce: A) FORMAT — a repeatable structure: one priority reminder, what moved this week, one problem we are working on, one thank-you tied to specific work, and what is coming next week. B) THIS WEEK'S DRAFT — under 400 words in that structure, in a plain, direct voice, using only my inputs. C) CLARITY CHECK — sentences that use internal jargon or vague claims, rewritten. D) WHAT NOT TO SAY — anything in my notes that should not go to the whole company (unannounced changes, personnel matters, confidential deals), flagged. Inputs: [THIS WEEK'S NOTES] · [CURRENT COMPANY GOALS] · [PROBLEM WE ARE WORKING ON] · [PEOPLE OR TEAMS TO THANK AND FOR WHAT] Rules: Do not invent events, results, or quotes — write only from my notes and mark gaps. Verify every number and claim before the note is sent. Keep personnel matters, confidential deals, and personal identifiers beyond first names and teams out of consumer AI tools.
Why it works — A consistent weekly note from the CEO is one of the cheapest alignment tools a company has, but only if it is short, regular, and honest. A fixed structure that always includes a priority reminder and one real problem makes it worth reading, and specific thanks connect recognition to actual work. The what-not-to-say check prevents a weekly habit from leaking sensitive information.
