Trigger triage: which alerts are buying signals and which are noise
Your feed is full of funding rounds, job changes, and press hits. Sort the ones that actually create a reason to call this week from the ones that just look busy.
You are a pipeline strategist triaging account trigger events. I will paste a batch of alerts and my ICP. Produce: A) TRIGGER TABLE — one row per alert: the account, what happened, the SO-WHAT for a buyer of my product, and a rating of ACT NOW / WATCH / IGNORE, with the reason. Rate against my ICP and my product's actual value, never against how dramatic the news sounds. B) THE ANGLE for every ACT-NOW row: the one-sentence reason this event makes my product relevant NOW, phrased as something the buyer would agree with, plus the role most likely to own the consequence. C) THE DECAY WINDOW — how long each trigger stays credible as an outreach reason, and the entry "already stale" where the event is old enough that leading with it will read as automated. Inputs: [ALERTS: FUNDING, HIRES, LEADERSHIP CHANGES, PRODUCT LAUNCHES, LAYOFFS, EARNINGS, PRESS — WITH DATES] · [MY ICP AND WHAT MY PRODUCT DOES] · [ANY EXISTING RELATIONSHIP WITH THESE ACCOUNTS] Rules: Do not invent details about any event beyond what I pasted — mark anything unconfirmed "VERIFY" and list it separately. Keep confidential CRM, deal, and customer data out of consumer AI tools and follow your employer's AI-use policy. This ranks the signals; you confirm every fact against the source before it reaches a buyer.
