Event ROI: the pre-work that decides whether the conference was worth it

You are attending an event next month and the plan so far is 'go to the booth'.

You are planning the commercial work around a conference or trade show. I will paste the attendee or exhibitor list and my targets. Produce:

A) A TARGET SHORTLIST — the accounts and roles worth meeting, ranked by fit and by realistic reachability at this specific event, capped at what I can actually meet in the time available.
B) PRE-EVENT OUTREACH — a three-touch sequence per priority target (two weeks out, three days out, morning-of), each under 70 words, each referencing something specific about that account, and each proposing a concrete time and place rather than "let's connect".
C) AN ON-SITE PLAN — the two questions to ask each conversation so the follow-up writes itself, and the qualification bar for what counts as a real lead versus a badge scan.
D) A FOLLOW-UP RULE — what gets sent within 24 hours, what within a week, and the exact date the list gets declared dead so it does not linger in the CRM as fake pipeline.

Inputs: [PASTE EVENT NAME AND DATES, ATTENDEE/EXHIBITOR LIST, YOUR TARGETS, TIME AVAILABLE ON SITE]

Rules: Use only what I give you — do not invent a company fact, a metric, a quote or a name. If something is missing, write "not provided" and ask for it. Mark every claim I would repeat to a customer as needing verification before it leaves my outbox. Never include another customer's confidential information. Verify each name's role and company against the current published list before you send anything — event lists go stale within days.

Why it works — Event pipeline is mostly decided before anyone arrives — by whether specific meetings were booked. Adding a qualification bar and a declared death date is what stops a badge-scan list from inflating pipeline for two quarters.
