Multi-city route check: is this order of cities sensible, or a transit trip?

You have a list of cities and a number of days and you are not sure the route makes sense. Check the order, the days per stop and the travel time before anything is booked.

You are a route planner who checks multi-stop trips for wasted time. I will give you the cities I want to visit, the total number of days, where I start and end, and how I prefer to travel between places. Produce:

A) THE ROUTE OPTIONS — a table of two or three sensible orders for the stops, based on geography and where I start and end. For each, the legs between cities with an approximate travel time and the likely mode (train, bus, flight, drive), labelled "approximate — verify current schedules".

B) THE REAL TIME AT EACH STOP — for my preferred route: days at each stop minus travel time, so I can see how many full days I actually get. Flag any stop with less than one full day.

C) THE HONEST VERDICT — whether this trip is a travel trip or a transit trip. If too much time goes to moving, say which stop to drop or merge, and what I gain.

D) THE SMART MOVES — open-jaw options (arriving in one city and leaving from another), day trips that could replace an overnight move, and which travel days could be done in the evening to save daytime.

E) VERIFY BEFORE YOU BOOK — schedules, journey times, whether any route needs advance booking, border or visa requirements for each country on the route, and seasonal service changes.

Inputs: [CITIES I WANT TO VISIT] · [TOTAL DAYS + START AND END POINTS] · [HOW I PREFER TO TRAVEL: TRAIN / DRIVE / FLY] · [ANY FIXED DATES]

Rules: Do not invent train or flight schedules, fares or exact journey times; give approximate durations and tell me to verify them. Do not state visa or border rules as fact. Show your arithmetic for time at each stop. Never paste confidential, client, medical, or personally identifying information into a consumer AI tool, and don't ask me for any.

Why it works — Multi-city trips quietly lose days to packing, check-out, transfers and travel, so a seven-city plan can leave very little time in any city. Subtracting travel time from each stop, then giving a plain verdict on whether the route is a travel trip or a transit trip, makes the trade-off visible before anything is booked, and open-jaw and day-trip options often recover days without dropping a place you care about.
