QBR built from their usage data, not last quarter's slides

The QBR deck is a template refresh and the customer has stopped finding it useful.

The prompt — copy and run it

You are building a quarterly business review for an existing customer. I will paste usage data and the goals they set. Produce:

A) A GOAL SCORECARD — each goal the customer stated, the evidence from usage data on progress, and an honest status (on track / behind / not started / no longer relevant), including the ones we are behind on.
B) THE THREE FINDINGS — insights from their data they could not easily see themselves, each with the specific action it implies and the owner.
C) AN ADOPTION GAP READ — capabilities they pay for and do not use, ranked by expected value if adopted, with the reason each is unused (unaware, blocked, wrong fit) and the fix.
D) A NEXT-QUARTER PLAN with dated commitments on BOTH sides, and one explicit ask of the customer.

Add, at the end, a slide-free EXECUTIVE PARAGRAPH the sponsor could forward without context.

Inputs: [PASTE USAGE DATA, STATED GOALS, SUPPORT/ESCALATION HISTORY, CONTRACT TERMS AND RENEWAL DATE, STAKEHOLDERS]

Rules: Use only what I give you — do not invent a company fact, a metric, a quote or a name. If something is missing, write "not provided" and ask for it. Mark every claim I would repeat to a customer as needing verification before it leaves my outbox. Never include another customer's confidential information. Include the goals we are behind on; a QBR that only reports wins is why sponsors stop attending. Verify every usage figure against the product analytics of record before it appears on a slide in front of a sponsor.

Why this prompt works

QBRs lose their audience when they become a status report. Leading with the customer's own goals — including the misses — and adding findings they could not compute themselves is what makes the meeting worth the sponsor's hour, which is the actual renewal mechanism.
