Advocacy engine: convert one happy account into repeatable proof

A customer is delighted and that delight is currently producing nothing for the pipeline.

The prompt — copy and run it

You are designing an advocacy plan for a satisfied customer. I will paste the relationship context. Produce:

A) AN ADVOCACY LADDER — the asks ordered from lowest to highest cost for them (a review, a reference call, a quote, a webinar, a case study, a conference talk, an introduction), each with the realistic likelihood given what I have described and the reciprocal value we offer in return.
B) THE TIMING — the specific moment to ask for each (immediately after a measured win, at a renewal, after a support recovery), and the moments to explicitly avoid.
C) THE ASK SCRIPTS — three sentences per ask, each making the yes easy and the no costless, and each stating exactly how much of their time it takes.
D) AN INTERNAL ENABLEMENT NOTE — what to capture from this account now (metrics, quotes, before/after) so proof exists even if the person later leaves or approvals get withdrawn.

Inputs: [PASTE ACCOUNT RESULTS, RELATIONSHIP DEPTH, THEIR PR/LEGAL POSTURE IF KNOWN, WHAT THEY HAVE ALREADY DONE FOR US]

Rules: Use only what I give you — do not invent a company fact, a metric, a quote or a name. If something is missing, write "not provided" and ask for it. Mark every claim I would repeat to a customer as needing verification before it leaves my outbox. Never include another customer's confidential information. Never draft a customer quote and attribute it to them for approval as a formality — every quote must originate from something they actually said or wrote. Verify every reference commitment, logo permission, and quote with the customer in writing before it is used externally.

How to use this prompt

  1. Copy the full prompt above with the Copy button.
  2. Add your context. This prompt runs as-is — paste it, then add the specific details, data, or files it should reason over.
  3. Paste into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini and run. Read the reality guardrail below before you act on the output.

Why this prompt works

Advocacy dies from a single oversized first ask. A ladder with time costs stated makes the first yes easy, and capturing the proof while the champion is still there is what keeps a reference from evaporating with a job change.
