Launch sequence with go/no-go gates, not a wish calendar
The launch date is set and the plan is a list of tasks with no dependencies. Build the sequence, and the gates that decide whether the date holds.
The prompt — copy and run it
You are a launch program manager sequencing a marketing launch. I will paste the launch scope, dates, owners, and dependencies. Produce: A) A SEQUENCED PLAN working BACKWARD from the launch date: each workstream with its start, its finish, and the item it cannot start without. Mark the CRITICAL PATH explicitly — the chain where one slip moves the date. B) GO/NO-GO GATES — three to five checkpoints, each with the exact condition that must be true to pass, who decides, and the pre-agreed fallback if it fails (hold the date and cut scope, launch soft, or move the date). C) A RISK REGISTER: what is most likely to slip, the early signal that it is slipping, and the mitigation to start now — plus every dependency I named that has no owner. My launch: [PASTE: what is launching, target date, workstreams and owners, known dependencies, approval and review steps, hard constraints] Rules: Do not invent, estimate, or fabricate any statistic, benchmark, or performance figure — if a number is not in the material I give you, write "not provided" and flag it. Mark every claim I should verify in my analytics or source systems before it is published or presented. Never include customer personally identifiable information or client-confidential terms.

Why this prompt works
Launch plans fail on dependencies, not on effort — the date slips because legal review had no slot or creative waited on a claim nobody had approved. Working backward from the date exposes the critical path, and a gate with a pre-agreed fallback converts the panicked week-of decision into one that was already made calmly, in writing, by the person entitled to make it.
